"Our INN is tucked within a beautifully landscaped tropical garden, providing a restful environment for our guests....We take pleasure in providing a relaxed, at home atmosphere here.... The wide sandy beach offers an abundance of both shade and sun....plenty of coconut palms, with hammocks and beach chairs waiting...... a pool with a large deck and chairs.....

The nearby lagoon is ideal for early morning bird watching or late afternoon excursion, where you may quietly canoe, while watching for a variety of birds, manatee and an occasional crocodile. You may also drop a fishing line here.

We facilitate all inland excursions including birding trips available from this area... as well as fishing expeditions... snorkeling and scuba to the many cayes and to the Reef.

The Singing Sands offers two bars, Chez Albert at the end of our 200 ft pier, and the open air, Palapa roofed Bonefish Grille, conveniently located next to our swimming pool. Chez Albert is open till 11:30 PM. The Bonefish Grille is open from 7:30 AM to 9:30pm. These well stocked bars feature our Mojito and the local Belikin beer. Light fare is offered throughout the day. You can also sit back and relax with a choice from our Martini menu and a selection of premium cigars.
 

Near By Sites
SNORKELING/FISHING
Leaves from the lagoon side dock at 8:30 for an adventurous day of snorkeling and fishing. This fun filled day starts with dropping a line for the catch of the day, then snorkeling the waters off one of the cayes in the Caribbean. Lunch is served, then more fishing and snorkeling! Trip returns around 4:00PM (Minimum of 4 people).

SNORKELING & SCUBA
We leave at 9:00 from the lagoon side for the exciting blue waters of the reef and cayes. The snorkelers and guide will explore from one of the island beaches while the divers embark on the first of their two dives. Snorkelers and divers lunch together on the beach with box lunches provided from our kitchen. Our captain and dive masters are PADI certified and very experienced in these waters. The boat is designed for convenience and safety. Return about 3:30.

FISHING INSHORE or OFFSHORE
Drop a line in the rich Caribbean waters. Troll inside the reef for snapper, barracuda, jack, and yellow tail or fly fish the flats for bone fish or permit. Deep sea fishing outside the reef can be arranged as well for an all day adventure! There's great fishing in the lagoon too. Serious fishermen bring their own gear but local equipment is available.

DAY SAILING
Leaves our dock at 8:30 AM for a fun filled day of sailing the Caribbean on a 50 foot catamaran. Snorkeling, net dipping, or relax and enjoy the music. Lunch and drinks are included. Return 4:00 PM.

SUNSET SAILING
Leaves our dock at 3:30 PM for an afternoon sail to watch the beautiful sunset over the Maya Mountains. Snacks and cocktails are included. Returns at 6:00 PM.

MONKEY RIVER
At 8:00am, you begin with an exciting 12 mile boat ride through the lagoon at Monkey River. As your guide moves the boat up river you'll see iguana, birds and perhaps a manatee or crocodile. Now hike the jungle trails in search of Howler Monkeys and other rain forest residents. Lunch at Monkey River Town and meet some of the interesting locals of this isolated community. Return about 2 PM.

JAGUAR RESERVE
Leaves at 7:30-8:00 AM. It's only 25 miles by road to the Cockscomb Basin, the world's only Jaguar reserve. The visitor's center houses interesting exhibits of the rain forest inhabitants but you'll see them up close and personal. Your guide leads your through jungle trails and points out birds, plants, and animals along the way. After lunch, you'll swim under a waterfall to cool down before the drive back. You may have time to stop at a working banana plantation. Return about 4 PM Includes gear/lunch

MAYA RUINS & BLUE CREEK CAVE
Travel to Toledo District at 7:30 AM for a look at one of the southern Mayan Ruins. Then continue on the Maya Village of Blue Creek and hike the Blue Creek Cave where you'll put on a miner's light and a life jacket to enter the cave through the water. Spectacular and exciting but just for the fit and adventurous.

XUNANTUNICH RUINS & BLUE HOLE NATIONAL PARK
Departs at 7:15AM and returns at 6:00PM. Enjoy a scenic ride up Hummingbird Highway to Blue Hole National Park, home of the cathedral-like dry caves. After lunch feel the aura of one of Belize's largest Mayan sites. Climb the 130 foot El Castillo for a breath-taking panoramic view! Includes gear/lunch

WHITEWATER RAFTING/KAYAK
An extraordinary journey through Belize packed with adventure and excitement. On each stage of the trip you're teamed with the best guides in Belize; individuals whose knowledge and experience enable you to see and do what you never thought possible. On this adventure, you'll kayak and snorkel the main barrier reef and Glovers Reef Atoll. Inland we explore the Mayan underworld, and paddle a remote tropical rain forest river like the Moho River, Swasey River or the Caves Branch River.
