GARDEN:
Surround yourself with a tropical garden where the hummingbirds and banana quits are plentiful; you may help our gardener to pick coconuts and bananas, or he can cut sugarcane for you.
Experience the natural beauty of Jamaica up close. Our garden is filled with fragrant tropical flowers: hibiscus, bougainvillea, oleander and many others.
Have a taste of history - in 1793 Captain Bligh, who is famous for the mutiny on HMS Bounty, brought breadfruit and otaheite apples to Jamaica from Tahiti (formerly known as Otaheite) on HMS Providence. We have their descendants, for you to enjoy.
JACUZZI:
Indulge yourself after a hard day of fun in the Caribbean sun by slipping in to the Jacuzzi hidden in our tropical garden and illuminated by the moon and stars.
GYM & YOGA:
Keep in shape with our outdoor gym. We have weights and a couple of machines for you to use at any time.
If Yoga is more to your liking, then you can walk to the Negril Yoga Centre which offers group and private classes.
REGGAE MARATHON & HALF MARATHON
For those who enjoy running, the Negril Reggae Marathon & Half Marathon take place in early December. You can participate in any way you choose - by running the race or by cheering the runners on as they pass by our gate on the way to a happy finish.
During the rest of the year, take a run on the 7 mile beach and finish with a rejuvenating swim in the sea.
BEACH BAR:
Soak up the Jamaican sun in a swimsuit or in nothing at all. Our oceanfront location on the Negril beach gives you the opportunity to go swimming in your favourite bikini or to go skinny dipping. Either way you'll feel right at home our our spectacular beach.
Enjoy some genuine Jamaican hospitality at our beach bar where Maxine and Shawn will serve you delicious tropical drinks, local beer or a snack - all prices are reasonable.
DINING OUT:
Many visitors to Negril enjoy the variety of local dishes available from the many restaurants and cafes along the beach or in town. Eating out all the time can be expensive, so all our rooms have kitchens or kitchenettes for your use.
Whether you just keep a few drinks in the fridge or cook your meals, or even have some of them cooked and served by our staff, you will find the facility to be useful. They are properly equipped.
We serve free morning coffee on the beach. Our little beach bar serves cold drinks, breakfasts and snacks all day.. As we do not have a full-menu restaurant or a "meal Plan" you have the advantage of being able to try the great variety of restaurants.
Prices are mainly from modest to medium, with some restaurants extending the range to expensive. Our staff can give unbiased suggestions. Quite a few restaurants will transport you free from Firefly for your meal out, but many are within walking distance of Firefly.

Our quaint, ocean-front property places you directly on Negril's famous white sand 7 mile beach, where you can enjoy the soothing, crystal clear, turquoise Caribbean Sea which is safe for swimmers and non-swimmers, children and adults.
NIGHTLIFE:
There are two discos in town, but beach concerts with loud music, dancing, food and drinks as well as sales stalls for all sorts of trinkets, are most popular at places such as Alfred's Ocean Palace and Bourbon Beach - popular with the young, the middle aged and the young at heart of any age. Both are a 15 minutes stroll away on the beach (so they won't keep you awake). Margaritaville, about 500 yards away, is popular with young adults.
